Cons:
Hallway noise. The slamming of (c) openigloo the fire doors is constant. (c) openigloo And you can hear as (c) openigloo people walk up and down (c) openigloo the hallways.
Washington Heights Apartment

Decent building in Washington Heights. (c) openigloo Building management has implemented some (c) openigloo improvements. Location is near the (c) openigloo A train, which is convenient. (c) openigloo Building has laundry access.
Cons:
Would be better if there (c) openigloo would be more renovations and (c) openigloo improvements throughout the building as (c) openigloo some areas are in need (c) openigloo of repair and/or cleaning.
Advice to owner:
Consider offering improvements for existing tenants within their units.

Cons:
One major pipe burst/water issue Work (c) openigloo on the hot water/heating usually (c) openigloo crops up. They do fix (c) openigloo it but annoying when there's (c) openigloo an issue and a few (c) openigloo days in a row it's (c) openigloo off in the middle of (c) openigloo the day. Kind of difficult about (c) openigloo getting occupants added to the (c) openigloo front door directory. Package theft.
Advice to owner:
The super is great, hold onto him.

Property Management Co. not always (c) openigloo very responsive, not great communication (c) openigloo in advance about plumbing/elevator shut (c) openigloo offs, no tenant control over (c) openigloo heat in the winter (way (c) openigloo too hot)
Great Renovated Apartments But..

The super needs more assistance and maintenance requests need to be fulfilled quicker.

The neighbors (for the most (c) openigloo part) are great; friendly, kind, (c) openigloo thoughtful. The halls are (c) openigloo mopped every week, common areas (c) openigloo are kept pretty clean
Cons:
Building management is horrendous. (c) openigloo We have gone through 3 (c) openigloo separate supers in less than (c) openigloo 6 months. The one (c) openigloo now is fine, but overall, (c) openigloo it takes them forever to (c) openigloo do work in the apartments. (c) openigloo We had water dams (c) openigloo for in our apartment from an (c) openigloo upstairs leak months ago. (c) openigloo They started working on it (c) openigloo 12/18/20 and they STILL haven’t (c) openigloo finished the job. The (c) openigloo efficiency is lacking. The (c) openigloo Elevator has also been out (c) openigloo twice, both times around the (c) openigloo holidays. The first time (c) openigloo it took them over a (c) openigloo week to get it repaired (c) openigloo and we have a decent (c) openigloo amount of elderly/handicapped tenants that (c) openigloo RELY on that to get (c) openigloo out of the building.
Advice to owner:
You have to stay on top of the management group or nothing will get done

Pros:
The building has a great (c) openigloo layout and the entry is (c) openigloo wonderful. Having an elevator and (c) openigloo laundry in the building is (c) openigloo a plus. The proximity to (c) openigloo the A Line subway can’t (c) openigloo be beat! New Super is (c) openigloo helping to take care of (c) openigloo issues quickly.
Cons:
There was an issue of (c) openigloo packages being stolen from the (c) openigloo lobby. After the Super was (c) openigloo able to catch the person(s) (c) openigloo on video, they filed a (c) openigloo police report and took measures (c) openigloo to secure the doors to (c) openigloo the building. The common areas need (c) openigloo serious attention and improvement - (c) openigloo peeling paint, poor lighting.
Advice to owner:
Olshan Properties - There is an opportunity to make this a jewel of a building in the neighborhood. The location is ideal. Do not ignore it.
