Recent tenant reviews highlight buildings managed by ASTORIA CITADEL LLC. Residents appreciate the laundry facilities but express frustration with unresponsive management, slow maintenance, and various ongoing issues like broken appliances and poor communication. While some tenants find the building plain yet comfortable with a good neighborhood, others caution against the inconsistent management practices, delayed security deposit returns, and poor tenant-landlord relationships. Good access to laundry (when it works)
Former Tenant
Pros:
Gaudy building from the outside but quite plain inside. Laundry on each floor, though one of the washing machines has been broken for months now. Management tends to get back to you quickly...
Cons:
...however then issues do not usually get resolved very quickly. Sound proofing between floors is not very good, I can hear lots going on above me.

Beware of issues with this building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Apartments are nice
Cons:
Landlord is not good. Still waiting on security deposit after moving out long ago. We will never see it. I can’t even begin to list the issues we went through to get repairs and deal with the litigation the landlord has gone through that would end up affecting the tenants.
