not the best but acceptable

Pros:
responsive management, generally pretty clean, only saw one cockroach. trash management is good.
Cons:
laundry machines sometimes broke, first floor kinda dirty sometimes, package went missing once. a lot of young fratty people. sometimes the first floor throws a party until 2 am and its incredible loud and you can't sleep at all

invest in better washing machines, set curfews for parties

Decent building, good location, a little smelly, packages stolen

I love the location of this building and the management company is pretty responsive.
Cons:
Packages get stolen if the deliverer doesn't have the building code.
The hallway area has a weird smell.
Our fridge has been broken on and off and they haven't done much about it

Apt 1D is Terrible

- insanely great location
Cons:
- Owner and management were horrible people, asked us to lie to other tenants about what issues there were when asked
- pipes banged incredibly loudly
- rats in the walls
- mice got into our apt with little done to remediate
- one room had water begin dripping from the ceiling, their toilet foaming, and an odor of sewage that was around the whole year

INFESTED WITH BED BUGS FOR YEARS

Bed bug infested for years and the entire building had them - at least 6 apartments and they were all throughout the walls and buildings. They never came to fix, never answered, and the bed bugs didn’t go away for months. Had to move out. The floors are old and stained with paint everywhere. The heat was always overwhelmingly hot in the winter and made it insufferable. Overall terrible building and terrible owners and management

Tear down the entire building and start over.

Management was awful. Knew about an on going bed bug issue for years and never mitigated it. Took 3 months to respond and at least one floor of the building was infested the entire time living there

The first floor is above the boiler and there are constant clanging sounds in the walls that they do nothing to fix/ say there’s nothing to be done. Could not sleep for the whole winter. Specifically apartment 1D smells in the basement bedroom and had rats in between the floors and can’t stress enough how much to not live here, first review I have written in my life

Updated hallway, great location
Cons:
Neighbors leave trash outside of bins. There’s only one exit for fires, and no hallway fire extinguishers. We recently had a fire in the building and no alarms went off. People move in and out constantly, so there’s always tons of trash and cheap furniture being thrown out.
Advice to owner:
Either ask tenants to properly dispose of trash or pay the porter come more frequently. People move out regularly, so making sure that there’s extra cleaning around those times would be good.
