A lesson learned in nyc renting
Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighbors weren’t too loud, neighborhood was generally quiet, apartment had good light
Cons:
Had so many issues with rats and roaches that I had to contact housing department before people in charge would do anything. You could hear the rats in the walls. Also had some mysterious charges for heat that was faulty at best.
Advice to owner:
Respond to your residents and make the long term investment of hiring pest control to do full sweeps monthly to fix the pest issues.
