Advice to owner:
Don’t market these units as “comes with washer and dryer and dishwasher” and then not fix them when they break.

Poorly maintained over decades Long term (c) openigloo plumbing and electrical issues Handyman has (c) openigloo no training, almost every job (c) openigloo is done poorly or incorrectly Super (c) openigloo rarely around and seems to (c) openigloo have limited interest in the (c) openigloo building, blames everyone else for (c) openigloo work perpetually left undone. No (c) openigloo pride in maintaining the building. Porter (c) openigloo so offensive personally most tenants (c) openigloo will not speak with him. All (c) openigloo renovations done cheaply and not (c) openigloo to code, no permits. Intercoms doesn’t (c) openigloo work. Elevators break down frequently.
Advice to owner:
The condition of the building starts with the owner. The infrastructure of the building has been neglected for decades. Invest in the building, perform necessary plumbing and electrical work to code, renovate apartments with thoughtfulness rather than installing mismatched appliances and cabinetry that are placed where they can not fully open. Hire trained and capable staff without major personality or psychological disorders.

- great location - rooftop access (c) openigloo (technically not allowed but everyone (c) openigloo went up anyway) - we had (c) openigloo the apartment with the private (c) openigloo deck - friendly neighbors - couldn't hear (c) openigloo neighbors in our apartment - nice (c) openigloo (but sometimes not too helpful) (c) openigloo super - allowed for rent reduction (c) openigloo during covid

- management was slow to (c) openigloo respond to any issues and (c) openigloo when they did reply the (c) openigloo work was pretty bad - we (c) openigloo didn't have a working fridge (c) openigloo for a month and only (c) openigloo when we said we wouldn't (c) openigloo pay rent did they replace (c) openigloo it - garbage area was a (c) openigloo bit of a shit show, (c) openigloo oftentimes had rats - packages sometimes (c) openigloo got stolen, and despite there (c) openigloo being a "working" camera, management (c) openigloo said they couldn't do anything (c) openigloo about it; we believed it (c) openigloo was strangers who got in (c) openigloo vs. neighbors though

- update rent payment system - would be helpful if management was more responsive

I guess the rent was (c) openigloo decent and the location was (c) openigloo good. Washer/Dryer in unit was (c) openigloo nice.
Cons:
Management never responds to calls (c) openigloo and rarely returns emails, stairwell (c) openigloo had trash and hadn't been (c) openigloo cleaned in years, trash was (c) openigloo thrown under the stairs which (c) openigloo is definitely not up to (c) openigloo code, unit had bugs, bathtub (c) openigloo was incredibly small, management never (c) openigloo returned my security deposit

Dorothy should learn how to use a phone and write a clear email

The supposedly renovated apartments do (c) openigloo not have noise insulation between (c) openigloo floors and the gap causes (c) openigloo the footsteps noise, music to (c) openigloo be heard even louder, as (c) openigloo a result of that and (c) openigloo to the inconsiderate who cares (c) openigloo little about their neighbors you (c) openigloo will have moments of great (c) openigloo disgust, the heater pipes make (c) openigloo a lot of noise and (c) openigloo the leaks are constant since (c) openigloo the repairs are not (c) openigloo supervised and apparently they are (c) openigloo made with cheap labor will (c) openigloo causes them to be frequent, (c) openigloo the garbage is thrown on (c) openigloo the floor and not in (c) openigloo the trashcan, there is a (c) openigloo super but he doesn’t live (c) openigloo in the area. the cell (c) openigloo phone antennas on the roof (c) openigloo generate interference, and apparently there (c) openigloo is an arrangement with spectrum (c) openigloo (Time Warner) so you can’t (c) openigloo use Verizon or optimun not (c) openigloo Dish, not Direct TV, ….. (c) openigloo nothing else only Spectrum.
