(c) openigloo Some have super low rent (c) openigloo (1000-2000 for 1 or 2 (c) openigloo bed) while others paying well (c) openigloo over 4k for a disgusting, (c) openigloo small apartment. Management hardly responds (c) openigloo because they are “too busy (c) openigloo managing several properties”. Building is (c) openigloo gross, don’t live here.

Location is nice in an (c) openigloo ideal, fantasy world. But rats (c) openigloo and St Luke's is apparently (c) openigloo where everyone takes their dogs (c) openigloo to poo so the street (c) openigloo and sidewalk is dirty and (c) openigloo block always smells like pee. (c) openigloo Also rats 24/7. Close to (c) openigloo Hudson river but 7th avenue (c) openigloo rush hour traffic and late (c) openigloo night revelers are loud. We (c) openigloo have a working fireplace but (c) openigloo it has major structural issues.
Cons:
Rats. Imagine opening a garbage (c) openigloo can and seeing a family (c) openigloo of rats....and the family of (c) openigloo rats consists of 20 little (c) openigloo rats. Rats ate tunnels through (c) openigloo the backyard ground making the (c) openigloo fence lean over and backyard (c) openigloo tiles wobbly. You hear rats (c) openigloo squeaking and fighting all night. (c) openigloo At least once a week (c) openigloo you have two or three (c) openigloo dead rats in the yard. (c) openigloo Rats also ate holes through (c) openigloo the garbage cans. Eventually they (c) openigloo ate into our bedroom walls. Ceiling (c) openigloo paint or plaster was peeling (c) openigloo off. Mini fridge not fit for (c) openigloo adults. Apartment has mice and water (c) openigloo bug infestations but they were (c) openigloo good about monthly extermination. Tenants would (c) openigloo often leave garbage in the (c) openigloo hallway, possibly because the garbage (c) openigloo area was full of rats (c) openigloo night AND day. The perks (c) openigloo of living near a subway (c) openigloo line! Overheard landlords son Jake croman (c) openigloo scream like a mad man (c) openigloo to the super in our (c) openigloo hallway. It was nuts. In my (c) openigloo first month tenancy, real estate (c) openigloo agents entered the apartment 3 (c) openigloo times at least while I (c) openigloo was home alone using a (c) openigloo key. Scary. Shady characters have showed (c) openigloo up to my door lurking (c) openigloo around my back yard. One (c) openigloo day I came home to (c) openigloo find the property owner standing (c) openigloo in my yard without any (c) openigloo notice. Scary. It took another (c) openigloo few weeks for someone to (c) openigloo fix the broken gate that (c) openigloo he was inspecting. Water boiler (c) openigloo was louder than the subway (c) openigloo and made the apartment vibrate. Apartment (c) openigloo was cold in the winter, (c) openigloo not enough heat. Fireplace worked (c) openigloo but looked structurally unstable. There was (c) openigloo steel wool sticking through every (c) openigloo nook and crack in the (c) openigloo walls AND THERE WERE MANY (c) openigloo CRACKS AND HOLES where the (c) openigloo baseboards should be sealed. Serious Mold (c) openigloo problem in bathroom. And ceiling (c) openigloo looked like it was about (c) openigloo to cave in. I could (c) openigloo see sunlight through the shower (c) openigloo tile underneath the window. Strange (c) openigloo ghost apartment 2 floors above (c) openigloo us. Bed room was literally (c) openigloo the size of a full (c) openigloo size bed. Apartment is ridiculously (c) openigloo small for a one bedroom (c) openigloo apartment. It was also illegally (c) openigloo destabilized. The next tenant should (c) openigloo check rental records. Sometimes the (c) openigloo front doors were left open (c) openigloo unattended and strange people would (c) openigloo wander in and out. One (c) openigloo person walked through, opened our (c) openigloo backyard fence and burglarized us. (c) openigloo One washer dryer for the (c) openigloo whole building. Yuck. Oh yeah (c) openigloo rats. There was so much (c) openigloo rat fecal matter that the (c) openigloo fake green turf was partially (c) openigloo black. Probably rat pee everywhere (c) openigloo too. My neighbor got sick (c) openigloo from rat fecal matter and (c) openigloo her dog almost perished from (c) openigloo rat poison. I got some (c) openigloo kind of rash on my (c) openigloo feet from tracking rat fecal (c) openigloo matter into the apartment. Many (c) openigloo more cons but that's all (c) openigloo I remember at the moment.
Advice to owner:
Non plastic garbage cans of rat proof bins would be a start

Great location with lots to (c) openigloo do. I was in a (c) openigloo unit on the top floor (c) openigloo and had access to the (c) openigloo private roof. The apartment itself (c) openigloo is fine although a bit (c) openigloo old and did leak occasionally.
Cons:
Management company was completely useless. (c) openigloo We had an ongoing leak (c) openigloo for months. It took a (c) openigloo legal notice to get them (c) openigloo to fix it. We had (c) openigloo a broken dishwasher for half (c) openigloo the year and eventually gave (c) openigloo up on getting it fixed. (c) openigloo It only got fixed when (c) openigloo they started I showing (c) openigloo the apartment to new potential (c) openigloo tenants. The super was incredibly (c) openigloo rude and yelled at my (c) openigloo mom on the phone when (c) openigloo she complained about the apartment (c) openigloo being filthy when we moved (c) openigloo in. I am currently battling (c) openigloo to get my security deposit (c) openigloo back and I’ve been moved (c) openigloo out for over a month (c) openigloo at this point.
