Nice place to live

Pros

Not a lot of noise in the building and building is kept clean. Super and management in general are good at responding

Cons

Sometimes light fixtures go out, intercom system needed to be fixed. There was also a fire and they increased our rent by $275 to cover neighbors who had been forced to vacated

To charge the amount they do for these glorified studio apartments that they list as 1 bedrooms is criminal. Even if the appliances look updated they’re the cheapest possible version and not full size. The floor in my unit was literally slanted like things would roll to the other side. The laundry in the basement is one washer and one dryer and there’s always dead cockroaches everywhere on the stairs down there. The super also does not live anywhere close. I accidentally left without my keys one day so I got locked out and it took hours to get in contact with someone and then for them to come help me, and if you use a locksmith you have to pay for the damage to the door which didn’t seem like a good option.
