not as good as it used to be

Pros:
quiet (apartment facing inwards), friendly neighbors
Cons:
slower repairs, packages stolen frequently, no security/ doorman
Advice to owner:
faster, more reliable repairs

Location is very nice to sight see in the areas

We have had 16 property managers in the 12 years at the ECA since they open in 2010, 5 resident managers which one was a nightmare and right now management office is close 5 days a weeks with sign that said open Tuesday and Thursday open those days which is not true. There’s no communication between management and the residents. In 1 year we have had 3 resident managers which Clinton Management said it the same as being a superintendent which is no where to be found. The resident manager is always MIA!!!!’
Advice to owner:
Owner Jeff Levine needs unannounced and to the tenats. The property manager is nasty and abusvive to non speaking English and seniors Ms D. Acosta is never around and seem now you can’t even keep superintendent because of verbal abuse and unprofessionali

Location, Neighborhood, Businesses
Cons:
No Doorman or even just something to stop people who don’t live here from entering into the building.
Intercom is always broken
Back door is ALWAYS PROPPED OPEN!!!

Responsive staff, clean building

The staff is very attentive.
The building is cleaned daily.
It’s actually quite quiet for the Bronx and for being so close to an industrial area. (I do live facing the inside courtyard, so I’m not sure how it would be if I faced 149th St.)
Cons:
The smell of weed is almost constant. I’m sure management tries to address it, but nothing has changed.

The garbage chute/rooms are often a mess, although this is because of the people who live here, who don’t seem to understand how a garbage chute works. The staff tries to stay ahead of it, but the tenants are disrespectful.

They offer extermination services monthly, but I struggle with roaches on and off.

The hot water can get REALLY hot.
Advice to owner:
I understand that it’s hard to do something about it, but the weed smell is so annoying.

Pros:
It’s clean. There’s not much noisemakers. Garbage is well kept. Great window views. A decent amount of quick response to complaints.
Cons:
The wrong new people are starting to ruin this building through floors 10-7. They have been smoking in the staircase, breaking signs and doing vandalism. Someone uses pepper spray in the elevators a joke to whoever goes in later on. I don’t know what’s going on now, this building is brand new.
Advice to owner:
Please thoroughly check applicants history on previous buildings. Y’all are moving in the wrong people.
