Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenants of Aaron Sirulnick-managed buildings report mixed experiences ranging from well-maintained spacious apartments with nice neighbors and responsive supers to severe issues with pest infestations, poor maintenance, and rude staff. Many reviewers criticize unresponsiveness to complaints, especially concerning pest control, heating inconsistencies, and noise isolation. Garbage and cleanliness standards vary widely, with some buildings described as filthy and poorly managed. Rent hikes are common and can disrupt community stability. While some buildings benefit from attentive management and good location, a recurring theme is the need for improved maintenance, pest control, and overall building oversight. Prospective renters should expect inconsistent management quality depending on location and building.

Pros

Unfortunately bad management support, bad maintenance support, super never responding he turned of his ring in his appearance, today its a first time a year he mapping floor, because one of tenant mapping himself, for example myself always mapping next of my appartment and garbage room, because it's discusting durt

Cons

Garbage delays, never respond, rare cleaning, never in a building and major attitude so rude and nasty, building manager visits sometimes, but only in a first floor, building has a 6 floors and super maps all floors above maybe twice a year

Advice to the owners

Maybe ask building manager and super do those jobs? If they not able to replace for better employees

Pests, Filth and Noise. Be warned!

Pros

It has a laundromat and parking. That’s about it.

Cons

Pests are a big problem in this building. There’s a roaches everywhere. I even seen a mouse in my apartment. I don’t think management does enough to address these issues. The building is also filthy most of the time. I don’t think you can blame one party since the residents leave the trash area uncared for by not putting cardboard into recycling bins or leaving their garbage in the bins of the laundromat. The maintenance crew also hardly cleans the place nor places a priority on what needs to be fixed. The biggest issue, at least for me, was the noise level. If you’re sensitive to noise and want peace and quiet after a hard day at work, good luck because the materials that make up the building are cheap and you can hear almost anything. You can even make out conversations. This is another issue that management fails to address nor do they care. I’ve repeatedly reported my upstairs neighbor who would throw a party for three consecutive nights in a row and after being warned continued to make noise: playing video games while shouting, bringing people over chatting the night away, moving furniture all past quiet hours stated in the lease(10 pm - 8 am). Despite mentioning this to the management, it didn’t solve anything, not even a little bit. For future tenants, if these three things I mentioned are deal breakers, good, there are far better options out there in the city than this sorry excuse for a residence.
