June homes rental company sucks

Pros:
Good hot water, restaurant downstairs is run by good people, no major pest problem
Cons:
Mail on the staircase is messy, ladder to the roof is dangerous,

Lived here before this new management who’s absolutely trash. Doesn’t clean building or answer phone unless he wants to.

Why do I still live here?

Rent is affordable since we’ve been here for about 20 yrs
Cons:
Changes ownership constantly, landlords don’t care about this building or repairs. Mice infestation and roof is always leaking. Half of the building is fairly new tenants and they all use illegal substances or have drama… terrible!
Advice to owner:
Maintain this place clean, no security and please follow through with repairs and pest control.

When small messes occur in Lobby , elevator, and hallway , takes a while before its cleaned up

Stole my packages all the time, and many insects

It was spacious, very bright.
Cons:
Lots of insects, Bad caulking job, constant leaks and all my packages were stolen and they wouldn’t do anything about it.

Good location, laundry in the building
Cons:
Walls are pretty thin (though this is typical for most of nyc), packages are very easily stolen
Advice to owner:
Better control of who goes in and out of the building, cameras in the entrance of the building

Pros:
Security cameras throughout the entire property, mostly quiet neighbors.
Cons:
Very slow to get things fixed in Apts, Building tends to be very dirty most of the time, rodents are a huge problem especially when some tenants are very dirty, heat is usually just steam for only 15-20 minute intervals a few times a day during the winter but the windows are so old they don't sit properly and you lose all the heat instantly as well as having continuous cold drafts coming in. Also there aren't many electricity outlets in the Apts so you are somewhat limited on how to arrange furniture & appliances.
Advice to owner:
Update the windows, electricity, and some hardware. And have someone clean more often.

Right by the train and private backyard
Cons:
Mice, rats, roaches, sewage in basement, water leaks, horrible landlord, shall I go on?
Advice to owner:
Stop taking money for absurd reasons. $600 to paint an apartment when that is the LANDLORDS responsibility?! Please, learn from us and do not work with this company
