Review Summary for 219 East 69TH Street LLC
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Tenants of buildings managed by 219 EAST 69TH STREET LLC consistently praise the cleanliness and friendly, helpful doormen and maintenance staff. Residents feel secure about package handling and appreciate well-maintained water pressure and heating when it works properly. However, complaints highlight thin, noise-permeable walls, occasional pest issues, and poor natural lighting in some apartments. Construction noise is frequently disruptive, and management’s response to noise-related concerns and rent negotiations is perceived as inflexible. Amenities are limited, with calls for added gym facilities and better rooftop use. Overall, management is generally responsive but could improve communication and infrastructure to enhance tenant satisfaction.

super clean but too dark and loud
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super clean building, most doormen were friendly and I always knew my packages were safe. Maintenance was really on top of it too.
Cons:
Really loud neighbors, lighting is poor (both natural and installed), not enough washers and dryers for the building size, heating was set way too high and so I'd need to leave a window open or run the ac

Loved my time here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Doormen, maintenance workers, elevator, apartment, laundry,
Cons:
Thin walls and ceilings- always heard the woman above stomping around and she was a bitch when confronted. Lots of construction in the building during my years there.

Constant Construction Noise
Former Tenant
Pros:
Doormen and maintenance staff are amazing
Cons:
The building was constantly under construction with so much noise.
Not willing to give tenants a break on their rent for noise, and not willing to given tenants a break on lease renewals when they're lived there a long time.
Advice to owner:
Renovation noise should be given as notice to tenants

overpriced, thin walls, no light
Former Tenant
Pros:
A few of the doormen are so nice and helpful! I've always felt like my packages were safe too no matter how long I took to pick them up. Some apartments come with tons of closet space, the kitchen appliances work well, and the lighting in some parts of the apartment is great. Water pressure is great too, and the water heats up really fast. I've never had issues with mice or roaches even though I see some in the neighborhood. Handyman is really nice and responds quickly.
Cons:
Walls are pretty thin. I can hear my neighbors on both sides and sadly they fight a lot so it was really disruptive. Also since this is a family-oriented neighborhood, I could hear my neighbor's children yelling and screaming a lot, and I could hear children crying in the lobby too (as well as dogs barking since this is a pet friendly building). Sound travels well in this building so I could basically hear everything happening in the lobby and could hear my neighbors coming and going. Lighting in the main space of the apartment is really poor, and light doesn't come in through the windows due to being on a low floor, north facing, and being around other tall buildings.
