no roof or gym but worth it anyway!

Excellent building and staff.

Pros:
Responsiveness and cleanliness. Management takes pride in keeping building well maintained. All staff helpful.
Cons:
Laundry facilities were small relative to size of the building, would be crowded during peak times. Trash chute is small and required brining large trash items down to the basement.

thick walls with little noise

people who live in the building are snotty and unfriendly
3rd avenue is sometimes loud
kitchens are super small

It's kept very clean.
Cons:
1) Sometimes my water comes out brown for a second, even with filters on my faucets. 2) I sometimes feel unwelcomed / disliked by one of the people that runs the building. 3) One time I saw a singular cockroach in the lobby on my way out to get takeout but it was gone by the time I returned.

It’s expensive, my neighbor’s dog barks all the time, and the management company is weird about lease renewals

Doormen are really nice and make you feel welcomed and appreciated.
Cons:
Elevators are slow and only two (no freight elevator). Water pressure on top floors stinks.
