Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews highlight the buildings owned by FRANCO EQUITIES LLC as a mix of experiences. While some tenants appreciate the cleanliness and management responsiveness, others express dissatisfaction with pestcontrol issues, theft incidents, and inadequate lighting. Maintenance of laundry facilities and package security are recurring concerns, yet the proximity to amenities and parks is praised. The owner's communication is a significant point of contention, with limited responses reported. Overall, the buildings offer convenience but may benefit from improved pest control practices, consistent owner engagement, and better security measures to enhance tenant satisfaction.

Great location, awful apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
I liked the location, the fact that there's laundry in the building
Cons:
The laundry room was disgusting. Constantly dirty, broken machines. People would steal packages all the time. Loud, noisy neighbors. Landlord is borderline scummy

The landlord doesn’t reply
Former Tenant
Pros:
Unit is pretty good / clean. One of the three bedrooms has a lot of light.
Cons:
The landlord RARELY replies, really only is ever in contact about rent/resigning. Cockroaches— and landlord didn’t help out. the unit is always too hot even in winter Some rooms don’t have enough light for the price
Advice to owner:
Please invest in pest control and respond to your tenants. Charge fair prices for shittier rooms.

Can't complain
Former Tenant
Pros:
This building is managed well, and there is laundry in-building - which is a nice bonus
Cons:
There was a problem with stolen packages for a little bit, but that's NYC so what can you do. Other than that, can't really think of anything else.

Highly recommended
Former Tenant
Pros:
A lot of sunlight, all apt have south exposure (i lived in one of the one-bedroom apt and now in a two-bedroom), next to central park, next to trains and buses, next to supermarkets and shops, near the park but without the noise of Central Park West, management is very responsive, super very responsive.
