2-bedroom apartments in top rated buildings for rent near Times Sq-42 St

It means the apartments are in buildings with strong review scores on Openigloo. It is a building-quality signal, not a guarantee that every unit, landlord interaction, or move-in experience will be the same.

This page is scoped to 2-bedroom apartments in top rated buildings near Times Sq-42 St, so the count reflects that narrower search. Inventory can change quickly, especially near major transit.

It gives you a midpoint for current asking rents in this scope. For 2-bedroom apartments, it is useful for budgeting a roommate split or comparing whether a unit is priced above or below the local median.

A 2-bedroom search has to balance bedroom count, shared common space, and total monthly rent. The count and median help you gauge how many options are available before you compare layout, light, storage, and commuting needs.

Ask about broker fees, application fees, security deposit, move-in costs, utilities, pet rules if relevant, and any lease clauses that affect renewals or roommates. A top rated building can still have strict application requirements.

Use reviews to look for recurring themes like maintenance speed, noise, management responsiveness, and repair follow-through. A few comments can help, but repeated patterns matter more than a single rating.
