Management company does as little as possible to maintain the building

Pros:
Low rent, location, great neighbors in the building
Cons:
The only elevator—freight elevator—has been out of service since June 2023. The building is badly in need of repairs, especially the windows and the roof. The heat is inconsistent. Sometimes it's OK, and sometimes it's cold.
Advice to owner:
Maintain the building the way you'd ike the building you live in to be maintained.
