Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 106 Bayard St highlight mixed experiences. Positives include some newly renovated units, good apartment layouts, a convenient location, an elevator, and friendly neighbors. However, significant issues are reported with building cleanliness, persistent pest problems, poor management responsiveness, and noise disturbances. Package theft and ongoing loud construction are additional concerns. Heating works but lacks individual control, and water pressure is generally good. Tenants report management neglects maintenance requests and noise complaints. Despite a few well-maintained units and a great location, the overall dissatisfaction with management and building upkeep suggests caution for prospective renters.

Disgusting Building with some nice units
Former Tenant
Pros:
Some of the units are newly renovated and in good condition.
Cons:
I had a huge cockroach issue upon moving in. It took over a year to resolve it. Building smells awful. Construction on the street is insanely loud and will not end for another 10 years. There is no natural light in any of the units. The hot water is inconsistent. Management never responds. I would say 80% of packages get stolen from someone in the building.

Love it here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location and layouts of apartments are great
Cons:
The heat system works as intended, I just wish we had more (any) control related to it. But it isn’t that big of a deal
