Easy + Loud
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean enough building, comfortable units, kind super who is accommodating. Renovated bathrooms. Great location to access everything downtown. Great sunlight.
Cons:
Right under the bridge, windows are not noise canceling enough. Get used to the sound of the train. Skatepark across the street has some loud people arguing at night at times. Constant small roaches in the building and in the units, landlords dont care- but can be managed. Heat can be finicky during the winter and consistent water damage in bathroom. Building is quick to respond about heat. Raised rent aggressively to update units and provide washer dryers. Would have renewed if rent did not increase so highly.
Advice to owner:
Make better effort to manage pests, swap windows to be stronger noise cancelling windows.
