Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews highlight 37 Clinton Street's prime Lower East Side location offering spacious units. The management is responsive, but concerns include bug infestations, noise from street traffic and a bar, frequent package theft, and high rent relative to quality. Some tenants faced gas leak issues without compensation and poor water pressure. Suggestions include better security, bug control, and online payment systems. Despite positives like a responsive super, some criticize noise levels and unaddressed maintenance issues. Rent stabilization benefits some, but overall, improvements in cleanliness, security, and compensation practices are desired for a better experience.

Typical Lower East Side
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, lots of space, super / management is very responsive.
Cons:
Bugs in the hallway and building (cockroaches! and they fly!), homeless people hang out in the stairwell, extremely noisy considering proximity to traffic / being above a bar, packages get stolen constantly and instantly, really expensive for what it is.
Advice to owner:
Get better security so packages stop getting stolen, get stop leaving windows open in the hallway to mitigate bugs, get online payment system as having to mail physical checks is really outdated
