Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 230 East 7 Street, Manhattan, highlight its prime East Village location with access to bars, restaurants, and amenities like in-unit washer/dryers. Residents appreciate spacious layouts with multiple bathrooms and wood floors. However, many raise concerns about unresponsive and sometimes hostile management, frequent package thefts, and pest issues including mice and cockroaches. Heating is inconsistent, with some units very cold in winter. Noise levels vary, but proximity to a bar causes disturbances for some. Cleanliness and garbage management receive mixed feedback, with hallways sometimes dirty. Overall, renters advise management improvements and call for more professionalism and maintenance.
