Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 222 East 3 Street praise its spacious units, large rooftop with stunning city views, and a generally friendly super who is attentive and helpful. The building offers good heating, water pressure, and relatively clean common areas. Neighbors are mostly considered pleasant, contributing to a quiet environment. However, management and owner responsiveness consistently receive criticism for being slow, disorganized, and sometimes rude, with some tenants reporting maintenance delays, broken laundry machines, and security issues like package theft after the doorman was removed. Despite some infrastructure drawbacks, many tenants recommend the building for its location and amenities.

Had issues with packages being stolen; super was great but owner not
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Large back outdoor area - Generally clean - Elevator and laundry were both great
Cons:
- Packages were frequently stolen due to removal of doorman and insertion of package locker system that none of the carriers except USPS knew how to use

Great place, horrid management company
Former Tenant
Pros:
Rooms are spacious, AC in unit is great, roof has the best views of the city hands down, maintenance is super nice
Cons:
Management company is AWFUL! There is no reaching anyone that has any power (or brain). Instead you have to go through an office lady who has 0 clue what is going on and could care less what happens. They increase your rent by double digits every year and when you try to negotiate they just tell you to leave (probably why there were empty units for months at a time)
