When I was there, I would frequently receive notifications from ConEd that management had not paid central utility bills (the building owner - for central services, not tenants) and at one point heat/hot water/gas was shut off.
Unit was not cleaned upon move-in.
Elevator is constantly filthy.
Retail space on second floor so there are constantly people using what is supposed to be the tenant entrance, which is a security issue including for package deliveries which are dropped in the lobby.
There are trash chutes in each unit but management locks them so they can't be used, despite telling you they can be when you move in.
If you try to contact management about any issue by phone or email they simply don't respond.
Overall awful management that simply does not care and tries to cut corners everywhere. I have lived in 6 buildings in NYC and all others have been great; this management group stands out as uniquely bad. I terminated my lease early.
