Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 235 East 4 Street highlight its prime location and spacious apartment layouts with a good crowd of neighbors. However, significant concerns include poor building cleanliness, inadequate garbage management, and persistent pest issues like cockroaches and rodents. Heating and water pressure are often unreliable, and noise levels can be high due to loud neighbors and nearby nightlife. Management receives criticism for being largely unresponsive and slow to address maintenance problems, with some describing rude interactions. Although some tenants appreciate the building's charm and neighborhood vibe, overall, renters advise improvements in maintenance, pest control, security, and management responsiveness.
