- Location - No serious issues in the building - Friendly neighbors
- Tiny bathroom with weird smelling water and bad water pressure - Pipes would get so hot in the winter you have to open the windows so you don’t boil to death (insulating the pipes helped)

Everything about this building is great. The super and maintenance staff are so friendly, and it feels really safe with security cameras and double doors. I was a little hesistant moving to this area because I heard about all the crime, but the street is well-lit and populated and the other tenants are so nice. It’s a really comfortable environment and everyone is respectful of each other. I really have to applaud management for keeping an old building in mint condition. Laundry is around the block and it’s super close to Trader Joe’s and Target — and the L and 6 trains!
It’s an old building but rich with history. We’ve had an occasional mouse issue on the fifth floor - they dig through the brick wall - but the super wiped it out right away by chaulking the holes and setting traps/poison. It’s close to Blind Barber so the front bedroom can be loud on weekends, I just turn on a fan to drown out any bass. Other than that, the street is pretty quiet!
Keep Ray around— he’s an awesome super that addresses any issues immediately, and some before they start!
