    Cons:
    Horrible street noise on the corner of allen and delancey. Walls are thin enough to hear neighbors tv.

    Decent Spot But No Heat

    The layout, size and price of the apartment is really good for LES. Its a true 1 bdr with a separate office area which is great, especially with WFH. The exterminator also comes frequently for mice. Mice in nyc is unavoidable, but I never saw a single one in this apt (or any vermin issue which is amazing).
    Cons:
    There is no heat provided, you have to heat the place with space heaters and it gets brutally cold in the winter. I rented this in a pinch but I don’t even know if that’s really legal in NYC?! Also, upon moving out the landlord tried to charge me for damages that were already there. Thankfully I was able to dig up the original listing AND took pictures/texted damages when I moved in. The recco is up always do this for every apt but this was the first time I actually had to use it as proof. Document. Everything.
    Advice to owner:
    Heat the damn apartment
