It was worth it -- before construction
Pros
Honestly, the unit itself is great. Spacious, bright (used to be), crown molding, in unit w/d, dishwasher. And the super is amazing. Trash is taken out twice a week and pest control comes often. When we asked management to replace a feature in our unit, they did it relatively quickly and without hesitation
Cons
There is a rediculuous amount of noise pollution due to construction both next door and across this street. It could maybe be justified if rent were lowered but instead they've raised it year over year. Also, the building has multiple safety violations due to the construction that have gone unaddressed for over a year now
