A clean and quiet, micromanaged building

Pros:
Clean and quiet. Only 2 units per floor.
Cons:
Owners live in the building. You get a sense of being micromanaged with what should and should not be happening in your home. Much of the apt have stone tiles, makes the apartment feel much colder.

Great landlord in a great (but small) building

Pros:
The building was gut renovated less than 20 years ago. Granite floors, kitchen & bath. Hardwood in the bedroom. Video entry system and well maintained elevator. Landlord texts and is very responsive. He lives here, so he wants to make sure it’s great for everyone.
Cons:
No on premise laundry. Garbage is in the basement, only accessible by elevator. Door entry system can be hard for delivery drivers to figure out (less about the building and more about the drivers tho). In the before times the weekend bridge and tunnel traffic noise could be out of control. Small building (10 units total), so no FiOS — we’re stuck with Spectrum. No pets.
Advice to owner:
I’d really like to see the door system replaced with something a little more “single button push” to call, NFC scannable and maybe that rings cell phone number instead of the console in the door. Would LOVE an alternate broadband internet option.
