Don't use Lee Odell RE Inc

Building was clean, location was great.

Just putting this out there so that maybe (hopefully) it will one day help out someone looking for an apartment. Never, EVER live in a building that uses Lee ODell Real Estate, Inc. Their office person is the least competent, rudest and downright worst landlord I have ever experienced in my life - and I have gotten apartments off of Craigslist. Many times they tried to charge me a late fee for rent and when I told them to check the mail they said we can't check we are not in the office right now ???? Like that is my problem??? They sent my roommate's bank information to a group chat when we had only lived together a few weeks, and they repeatedly sent us emails meant for other buildings and units. When I tried to bring up complaints/fight the late fee they hung up immediately and told me to "stop screaming at them" when I was not even raising my voice. Then when I tried to text about it I got mocking responses and emojis instead of just talking out the issue with me. She, on the other hand, would call us like 10 times in a row during work hours for answers to questions that she had if she would just like...do her job? So frustrating.
They also tried to raise our rent by $700 offering no kind of upgrade to the apt with a building lacking any amenities.
They struggled to even just give us an apartment number in a building with 3 units in it. Half the year we were Apt 3, for ConEd we were apt 4 and then randomly at the end of 2 years there was a flimsy plastic '4' taped to our wall which fell off in 3 days. Oh! and now ConEd is trying to hit us with a huge bill because they never turned our meter on.
Lee himself is non-existent you have to go through the brick-brained office assistant who I won't mention by name but if you live under them YOU WILL GET IT.
Anyway, thats it.
I hope when people look up Lee Odell Real Estate, Inc this will show up. Sometimes its called Lee Odell RE, Inc. Or Lee Odell RE Inc.

Update your appliances, stop being rude to your tenants, do your job.
