Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 34 E 7 St highlight a prime, central location near Astor Place with spacious units and responsive management praised by many residents. Cleanliness and garbage management receive mixed feedback, with some noting dirty hallways and occasional pest issues, especially rodents. Heating is inconsistent, occasionally failing during cold periods, and water pressure often runs low. Noise levels tend to be moderate, though sound travels through walls in some units. While neighbors are generally rated positively, some tenants find apartments cramped with limited amenities like small refrigerators and no elevator access for upper floors. Renovation and improved maintenance are commonly suggested to enhance living quality.
