old, strange building…
Former Tenant
Pros:
- iconic neighborhood, close to NYU
- citi bike station nearby
- near the train
Cons:
- you pay rent by taping a check to the landlord’s door… new york i guess ?? lol
- no dishwasher or laundry
- crazyyyy theft on that block
- 1 of the bedrooms was extremely small compared to the others
- strange layout overall and you can tell it wasn’t meant to be a 3 bed
- poor lighting in living room
- PESTS! MANY PESTS! and minimal effort to address the issue
- apartment felt perpetually dirty
- poor building management/maintenance/responsiveness overall

hire someone to help

walkable area and great tenants, no rodents or bugs ever found
Cons:
bit trash build up but common in these bigger tenement buildings.
