Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Tenant reviews for 98 Thompson Street praise its prime Manhattan location and decent natural light. Several note responsive maintenance staff and some recently renovated units. However, many highlight management issues, including unannounced apartment entries, poor communication, and slow response times. Cleanliness and garbage management receive mixed feedback, with occasional pest problems reported. Apartment layouts can be small and outdated, sometimes with units lacking windows or proper amenities, such as prolonged gas outages. Noise levels and neighbor quality vary, with some tenants finding the environment less quiet or welcoming. Overall, renters appreciate the location but caution about management and building upkeep.

It’s okay, great location
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building was in an awesome location. Management is pretty responsive and the supper was always around to fix things!
Cons:
Always felt a bit dirty, outdated, apartment layout was strange.

Building management is a nightmare
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location is great. That’s about it
Cons:
The building management is a father/mother/son group who are also the owners. They come into my apartment unannounced to give tours to other people. Often times when I am on work calls and even once when I was not dressed. The building is also horribly kept. Stay clear of this place
