Don't do it
Former Tenant
Pros:
The only pro to this building was the neighborhood - hear of Nolita
Cons:
It was so incredibly poorly maintained. We had no gas for my entire 12 month lease, which meant no oven or stove. It was incredibly small yet incredibly expensive. Disgusting hallway. 6 floor walk up. No roof access.
Advice to owner:
CLEAN YOUR BUILDING!

Pros:
The location is fantastic
Very close to subways
Near lots of great attractions
Cons:
We did not have heat for 3 months
We did not have hot water for 5 months
We did not have cooking gas for the entire 12 month lease
There were rodents in the trash room which is in the lobby

Terrible Management - no gas
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good size and light filled apartment
Cons:
Gas was turned off for extended time. Building management had no rush to give back heat and hot water in winter. It was over a year with the gas off so no cooking ability either. Management basically said to suck it up. City officers turned up multiple times. Mice in stairwells. Rent not to the value of size and management service.
