Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 300 Mercer Street highlight its excellent location in Greenwich Village, featuring spacious apartments with great views and top-notch doormen and staff. Tenants praise the clean lobby, good water pressure, effective heating, and well-managed garbage disposal. The rooftop pool is a unique amenity, though access comes at an additional cost and is seasonally limited. Elevator reliability and occasional noise from street and neighbors are recurring concerns. Rent increases without negotiation and some dissatisfaction with management responsiveness and building upkeep, particularly around package clutter and outdoor cleanliness, are noted. Overall, it's a desirable but somewhat pricey building with solid amenities and attentive staff.

Greenwich Village gem
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amazing views and sunlight from apartments above 23rd floor, rooftop pool unheard of in Manhattan (for a fee), amazing doormen and staff
Cons:
Raise rent 8% every year the past few years with no negotiation, dogs pee all over the sidewalk in front of the building so it always smells, the super George is unresponsive and unhelpful
