Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 300 Mercer Street highlight its excellent location in Greenwich Village, with tenants praising the attentive and friendly doormen, responsive maintenance staff, and well-kept apartments offering great views. Cleanliness and garbage management are consistently commended. Amenities like a rooftop pool receive positive mentions, though some note additional costs and limited seasonal access. Common drawbacks include frequent elevator issues, occasional street noise, and some concerns about management responsiveness and rising rents. While the building exudes luxury, some suggest improvements in lobby organization and repairing windows. Overall, it remains a desirable choice, especially for those valuing location and staff quality.

Wonderful building & tenure
Former Tenant
Pros:
The doorman are incredible and the reason we were so sad to leave. The units themselves were very nice (we lived in 2 over 5 years!) and the maintenance team was super responsive and great to work with. Incredible location. We miss the building so much!
Cons:
The years of the elevator upgrades made for very painful long waits, but ultimately were worth it. The hallways could be nicer, and we wish they had larger units, also there is no flexibility on rent negotiations, which was painful during Covid.
