Great location and staff but expect huge rent increases

Pros:
Amazing location and staff and appreciate the small gym
Cons:
Noise travels easily between apts; have had to kill multiple roaches; the new management is not very responsive and and I had a huge rent increase.

New Management is Garbage

Pros:
Old management (Rabina) was attentive and reasonable with rent. Super is pretty nice, 3/4 doormen are awesome
Cons:
New management is a joke. No responses or zero responses. Rent increase of over 9% every year. Even after heavy construction for 2 months, and pest problem.

New management company

Nice Apartment Building, but maybe not worth the money

Pros:
Big units, great location. Doormen are sweet and very responsive. All appliances worked.
Cons:
Basically can’t control the heat at all. No control over how overly or underly warm you are during the winter. Can be loud with people on the weekends.
Advice to owner:
Some control of the heat per unit

great place to live but not obsessed

Pros:
Doormans are all very friendly
Location is great and close to subways!
Cons:
No central air and Amsterdam billiards below can be a little disruptive.
The super is one of the worst people I’ve ever met and is so rude to everyone he encounters over the smallest things.
Advice to owner:
Update lighting, FIRE the super

Clean building but unfriendly neighbors

Loved the building especially the doorman.
Cons:
but the super was rude and the neighbors stuffy. Webster hall was extremely loud across the street.

Nice doormen
Clean and bright common areas
Pay rent online
Cons:
Washer and dryers are regularly broken
Have had a few roaches in my apartment
Not always the most responsive to requests for maintenance
Only one elevator
Advice to owner:
Stop leaving the basement doors open. It lets bugs in

Trash/recycling system is super easy, amazing staff, clean and responsive management

Older building, small windows, oddly shaped units, older AC units in apartments

Great staff. Continue to renovate kitchens & bathrooms.
