Solid building with minor issues

Pros

Overall good experience living here. Laundry in basement, great location near union square and accessible to other neighborhoods. Wide range of neighbor demographics, but most tenants are kind and willing to commiserate about various building quirks.

Cons

Landlord can be slow to respond and take care of things and live-in super has a lot on his plate. When I first moved, I had poor water pressure that took weeks to be fixed. Same with the heat, which wasn’t working during the first few weeks of cold weather in the fall. Had mice in the kitchen and ended up handling exterminator services myself.

Advice to the owners

treat our live-in super like a human being, and hire additional help for cleaning, maintenance and repairs.
