Nightmare of a landlord will fabricate facts to keep you deposit.

Pros:
Location, appearance, west village charm
Cons:
The landlord is controlling to the point of going through your trash and emailing the entire building about it. She also forces everyone to hire her cleaner and will blame the tenants for whatever she can in order to extort some extra money on top of the already very expensive rent. She also controls your heat so be prepared to freeze and take cold showers unless she is around or feels like it’s cold enough.
If all that wasn’t enough, prepare to have the landlord still your money when time comes. She will lie and fabricate facts in order to keep your security deposit.
Advice to owner:
You have a great property in your hands which makes for a perfect business to run. Understand that this is a business though and stop treating the people that pay to live there as if you were doing them a favor - you are not. Be more kind and understanding, it will save you unnecessary drama.
Return people’s money when time comes, you live in 10MM property where greed shouldn’t have room.
