Great apartment, old building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Love the area and having views of the park across the street. Building management is pretty responsive

Old building, some issues with pipes in the building

A hellacious place
Former Tenant
Pros:
Incredible neighbors! Had to ban together to constantly report building to New York DOB, but that really bonded us!
Cons:
3 winters in a row of heat going out for up to 3 weeks at a time. Cracks all over the building from years of wear and tear with no maintenance. Building is so old you can hear everything above you to a degree I’ve never experienced before after many decades as a NYC renter. Trash constantly overflowing because it’s not taken out frequently. Constant leaks from upstairs apartment because, again, building is so old. They will not give you back your security deposit in full.
