    Difficult Management Company
    Former Tenant
    Pros:
    Nice building staff, great views from the roof, one bedrooms are a decent size
    Cons:
    Maxwell Kates is one of the most difficult management companies in the city - abritrary rules put in place at the last minute, rude and unresponsive staff, cheap, ridiculous fees, poorly maintained buildings. Roof is often closed for the entire summer. Water is constantly shut off at the last minute. Full service building but the super is selective about who he allows staff to help. I’ve had issues with my mail and packages. Only 2 very slow elevators for 22+ floors, one is always broken and they refuse to be proactive, I’ve been stranded by both elevators being out several times. No repairs after hours or on weekends even if it’s an emergency.
    Advice to owner:
    Get a new management company and fix the elevator.
