Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 153 East 18 Street highlight its excellent location near Gramercy Park and Union Square, with tenants appreciating quiet apartments and good-sized, well-lit units. Management generally responds quickly, especially with trash removal, though some find owner interactions inconsistent and slow for certain repairs. Heating tends to be variable—often insufficient or delayed—and pest control is a mixed experience, with some reporting occasional roach issues. The building appears clean overall, but common areas could benefit from fresh maintenance and painting. Neighbor experiences vary widely, affecting noise levels in some cases. Stairs can be challenging on higher floors but manageable.
