Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews for 217 East 25 Street in Manhattan highlight a mix of positives and negatives. The building boasts a responsive superintendent and well-maintained common areas, but issues such as mice infestation, water pressure problems, and noisy neighbors have been reported. Some residents praise the helpful super but express dissatisfaction with the building management's attitude. Overall, while the location is convenient and some staff are responsive, improvements in pest control and management responsiveness could enhance the living experience for tenants seeking a more comfortable and harmonious environment.

Good old building with some issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
Really wonderful and responsive superintendent living next door. Elevator was great and building was generally clean and well maintained.
Cons:
We did have a mouse but it was addressed anppropriately. Some issues with water pressure. We also had incredibly loud neighbors who have hopefully since moved out.

Review: B-
Former Tenant
Pros:
Located in a great area. The Super, Skender, is incredibly kind and helpful whenever problems arise. Entrance of building well maintained.
Cons:
Building manager Sophia is extremely rude and difficult to work with. Management has a general attitude of “its not our problem.” Although this is common to New York, there has also been a consistent problem with mice.
Advice to owner:
The building would be a great place to live if building management would start treating tenants with respect and decency.
