Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 230 East 27th Street highlight the convenient location, responsive management, and strong water pressure as positives. However, concerns over pests like roaches and mice, poor garbage management, and noise disturbances from neighbors are prevalent. Tenants have expressed frustration with slow responsiveness to maintenance issues, pests infestation, and inadequate heat control. There are repeated complaints about the management's lack of action on critical repairs, affecting the overall living experience negatively. Despite some advantages, the consensus leans towards dissatisfaction due to ongoing issues with pests, maintenance, and management communication.

230 East 27th st Second Floor
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Responsive Management and Super - Nice neighborhood and location - Really nice sunlight
Cons:
- Above trash, lots of roaches coming out of sink - Sometimes the hot water would go away for a few hours but nothing crazy

Ok first apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
The super is a very nice person . The apartment itself has a ton of charm with brick walls/ building has tile floors. The kitchen is fully updated with stainless steel appliances and the heat is very strong. The maintenance is responsive, but doesn’t always fix issues all the way due to their budget constraints
Cons:
Mold in the bathroom, issues with doors, rest of the units have pests, shower doesn’t always have hot water
Advice to owner:
Appreciate your super and treat complaints more importantly
