Pros:
Good location, that’s just about it
Cons:
Super did not even live in nyc so if you have an issue on a Friday (which was common) don’t expect it to be handled until next week. Rodent problem. Ongoing construction in the hallways. Worker always left the front doors wide open.

BAD APARTMENT DONT RENT

Convenient location *if you are into going to restaurant and bars*
Cons:
Bugs (roaches and silverfish and other bugs from the drain) Very slow response to maintenance and the management is not responsive AT ALL Apartment is dirty. There was a large gap between kitchen counter and stove, and it’s impossible to clean all the dirt and crumbs there from past tenants. Extremely thin walls and very loud neighbor going out at 3AM on weekends all the time. The neighborhood is loud in generally and very dirty. Don’t get fooled by online photos. The place is dirty and there’s mold in the shower.

Useless Management Nice Super

Pros:
The super is kind and responsive (but not always quick to fix issues), neighbors are nice and young, the walls are pretty sound proof but you will hear what’s going on in the stairwell, the dishwasher, fridge and stove work great.
Cons:
The management is incredibly difficult to get into contact with, the super is not a live in (wrong on listing sites), the front of the building will always have garbage thrown all over, we’ve had our apartment treated 2 times for cockroaches in 2 months (fingers crossed actually gone), cabinets will fall off and need to be re mounted, the laundry machine has never been cleaned there is miles of lint and debris inside our machine before hiring a cleaner, the washer will shake so hard that glasses will fall of the counter, common areas have seen better days 10 years ago

Actually respond to emails about problems is a starting point

Beautiful and redone. Good space and clean. Great water pressure
Cons:
Within a week had a mouse and I am very clean. Very loud neighbors and already had the police come in the building to ask about a neighbor. Also have had packages stolen and management isn’t looking into it.
Advice to owner:
Get better security. If no ones living in an apartment lock the door. Do not leave it open for anyone to walk in. Also, apartments here shouldn’t be allowed to rent since I think that’s where creepy people are coming in.

Package Theft & Non Responsive Mgmt

Pros:
Nice appliances, in unit washer dryer
Cons:
The building management is non responsive. The heat did not work for months this winter and the building did not resolve the issue for months. Package theft runs rampant. Did not give consolations for rent during the pandemic to existing renters.
Advice to owner:
Listen to your tenants and make it seem like you care even a little.
