Good place to live, reliable super & management team, way too expensive now
Former Tenant
Pros:
Pre-war building with central heat, big windows, very well maintained old-school elevator, Chris & Frankie are wonderful in supporting with our maintenance requests (they often respond next day or even immediately if they're in the building). Never had issues with trash, sometimes the laundry in basement can be iffy. Really cannot beat the location, next to TJ's, Fairway, Target, CVS, AMC (<5 mins walking)
Cons:
The heat is a bit unreliable sometimes (too hot/too cold) but that's typical for pre-war NYC buildings. The rent increases are quite exorbitant (~$1000 increase within a 3 year period).
Advice to owner:
Your rent increases were quite exorbitant despite tenants being 100% on time for payments and never raised serious issues.
