Pros:
3 Bedroom apartment is very spacious, for a good price. Landlord took over for her husband so she does her best. Super is often nearby, and always responsive but I believe he has since left. Deli below has a cat, and will come up to hunt pests. Pet friendly, landlord let us get a pet regardless of the lease saying otherwise. Only 1 current neighbor. Roof access because penthouse is unused. Laundry is a few blocks over. Big Apple market across the street.
Cons:
Electricity bills can reach over $600 a month. There have been some pests but nothing this year (2025). Above a deli so more prone to pests. No trash chute, laundry or mailroom. walkup building only 4 floors. Penthouse is empty and unfinished for several years. No way to unlock front door unless someone is home. Many people try to break in or go on the roof. Wifi is $90 a month.
