yes very. there is a school right next door with a playground that it seems children will be at 12 hours of the day regardless of weather. other than the children its quiet

I lived on the 10th floor facing Amsterdam Ave. I heard street noise, but it was never a bother for me and wasn’t any nosier than a typical UWS apartment. It is a very busy intersection and can a bit hectic outside, especially with Cafe Luxembourg outdoor dining and the 72nd St station. All personal preference though.
