BULDING OWNED BY SLUMLORDS
Former Tenant
Pros:
Rent is somewhat cheap for the neighborhood, that is literally it.
Cons:
Building is owned by complete slumlords. Many of the floors have an on-going Bed Bug infestation that has been occurring since 2009, yes, 2009. As well, as mice, and cockroaches.

Not only that, but many of the apartments have a severe shortage of Heat in the winter, while the other half are baked like an oven.

Stay away if you can. No one should have to live here.
Advice to owner:
This building should be sold to an owner who can properly take care of it.

Actual hell
Former Tenant
Pros:
Living on the upper west side near a Trader Joe’s is nice - but not nice enough for the cons
Cons:
I got incredibly sick living here - the roof caved in in my hallway, it flooded and the carpets were ripped out leaving exposed nailed. Bedbugs that were never attended to. I called 311 over 50 times in one year on this building and nothing was done about it.
Advice to owner:
Take better care of the building or sell it.
Many people in the building were suffering & couldn’t leave. Do better.
