Cheap for a reason
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lots of space, great for roommates because there is an extra door separating sides of the apartment
Cons:
Lots of rent controlled tenants that have lived here for 15+ years and are waiting for a buyout, so they don’t take care of their units or allow management to make repairs in their unit (which affects neighboring units). On and off mice issues. Occasional roaches. Floors are over 100 years old and are loud
Advice to owner:
Better cleaning between tenants, more scrupulous selection of who you rent to
