Recent tenants at 340 East 58th Street appreciated the prime midtown location and spacious units. However, they highlighted issues such as cleanliness, pest control, and noise levels. Several reviewers mentioned consistent problems with roaches and an unresponsive management team. Elevator breakdowns, thin walls, and subpar neighbor cleanliness were common complaints. Despite some positives, like room size and improved elevators, the general sentiment leans towards dissatisfaction. Suggestions for upgrading the building's infrastructure and addressing pest and noise issues were recurrent themes. Not worth it
Former Tenant
Pros:
Large living space, nice location
Cons:
Too many issues with the apartment and it never got repaired. Cockroaches even when the apartment was cleaned and sprayed. Elevator always broken. Heat doesn’t work properly in the winter. Paper thin walls.
