Good Management, Nice Apartment
Pros
1. High Ceilings 2. Awesome eat-in Kitchen with electric stove 3. I could not really ever hear neighbors, unless in the hallway 4. Two-minute walk to the 6 train 5. Uniquely large bedroom 6. The owners have always been kind and responsive. 7. Laundry in building 8. Most of the cosmetic things I could complain about were likely updated after I moved out, so it's even better than it was when I lived there.
Cons
1. No light in the bedroom, at least on the north side of the building because it's too close to the neighboring building. You will wake up in basically darkness almost every day of the year. 2. Street noise can be loud if you're in an apartment facing 3rd ave, but only in the street facing room and it's honestly not too awful 3. The rent is way too high now.
Advice to the owners
I'm sure someone will pay over $3500 for a one bedroom here but who? I'm sad to see everyone I love being pushed out of this city. Otherwise, keep being responsive and kind; I really enjoyed living here.
