Not great management

Pros:
Quiet area, nice view of garden courtyard, very safe area, not major problem with bugs etc.
Cons:
Building management is unkind and not quick to respond. Had to deal with extensive construction for about a year with so much noise it made my head hurt. Building didn’t notify that it was happening. Didn’t address issues in apartment promptly.

Nightmare Building - Beware

Pros:
Didn't raise rent much each year, probably because they have such a hard time renting the apartments out. Super is nice. New appliances for the most part.
Cons:
The management is a true nightmare - just Google Livingston Management. They don't do anything no matter the issue - appliances not working for months on end, noise so bad you can never sleep or be in your apartment, leaking/flooding so bad debris is falling from the ceiling. The common areas are filthy, unruly dogs and hair everywhere. Constant illegal renovations and subdivisions in the building. They have been trying to sell the building for multiple years so there are constant requests for mortgage lenders to enter your apartment and take pictures. There is no respect of entrance notice laws, they will come into your apartment whenever they want. There is no reason to ever justify living here.
