Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 147 East 90 Street highlight its prime location near subways, restaurants, and Central Park, with tenants appreciating the unique apartment layouts and overall cleanliness. The building offers good water pressure, effective heating, and low noise levels, contributing to a comfortable living environment. Neighbors are generally friendly, and pest issues are minimal. However, a consistent concern is the management's poor responsiveness and difficulty in communication, with reports of delayed or no replies. Rent increases during the pandemic have also raised tenant dissatisfaction. Despite these management drawbacks, some renters find the building updated and safe, making it a decent option for those prioritizing location and apartment features.

Horrible management, decent building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Unique apartment layouts, close to the avenue, dishwasher(the only perk)
Cons:
The management company DOESNT ANSWER. They are so rude when they do but it will take two months to answer. They don’t answer their phones even if they are in the office. There is no laundry, the heat is too hot, the rent is too high for a lack of amenities and the garbage overflows
Advice to owner:
Answer your phone and stop charging so much if you are not going to make it better for the tenants. Glad I left.
